1. Overview
Wittzy (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a product of Labryx. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Wittzy app or visit our website.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Email address — when you join our waitlist or contact support.
- Message content — text you submit for reply generation. This is transmitted to our AI provider solely to generate your reply and is not stored on our servers after the request completes.
- Photos / screenshots — if you use the screenshot-to-text feature, the image is sent to our AI provider to extract the message text. The image is never stored.
- Subscription and purchase data — managed by RevenueCat and Google Play or Apple App Store. We receive subscription status (active/inactive) but do not store payment card details.
- Device identifiers — used by RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements across devices. Not used for advertising.
- Crash logs — anonymous crash reports to help us diagnose bugs. No message content is included.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To generate AI reply suggestions in real time
- To manage your subscription and verify access
- To send launch and product notifications (only if you opted in)
- To diagnose and fix bugs
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We work with the following trusted providers to operate Wittzy:
- OpenRouter / Google Gemini — processes message text to generate reply suggestions. Text is used only for this purpose and is not retained by these providers after the response is returned.
- RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions and purchase verification. RevenueCat may collect device identifiers and purchase history to provide this service. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Google Play / Apple App Store — handle payment processing for subscriptions. Subject to their respective privacy policies.
- Resend — used to send waitlist confirmation emails. Only your email address is shared.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Data Retention
- Waitlist emails are retained until you request deletion.
- Message content is not stored after AI processing completes.
- Subscription status is retained by RevenueCat for the duration of your subscription.
- Crash logs are retained for up to 90 days.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your data, use our data deletion page or email us at hello@wittzy.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
Wittzy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at hello@wittzy.app.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
